Duties include: Responsible for test automation development and translating business requirements/user stories into automated tests. Creating a test plan, test strategy and test scope documents. Management of build automation framework, maintaining test environment and workflow management and administration using Git, Jira. Writing Code in Java and running End-to-End automation scripts. Writing Test automation for all the APIs that were built using Rest or Soap. Performing automation testing and monitoring the Regression, Smoke and Sanity tests performed by Offshore and Onsite teams to meet the specified goal. Attending the daily scrum calls, sprint planning meetings, backlog grooming and retrospective meetings. Configuring the Jenkin jobs to achieve continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD). Analyzing the requirements ensuring there are no risks and writing a detailed analysis report. Creating defects using defect tracking tools and following the defect life cycle. Creating automation scripts in SOAP UI using Groovy script for web services testing. Developing Automation framework. Performing Database/backend testing by writing complex SQL Queries for data validation and integrity. Building automation for mobile, desktop applications and designing Test Cases report validation in Zephyr. Writing SQL queries to automate data integrity and to verify the UI data. Developing extensive set of Selenium WebDriver based keywords to support Keyword driven automation testing. Analyzing the script execution report using java framework. Performing Cross browser testing and Parallel testing on Chrome, Firefox and Safari using TestNG and Maven on Selenium Grid.
